RSA uses personally identifiable information gathered on the public RSA.org site to permit it to contact interested parties regarding its activities, services, and products; to permit members to contact each other directly; and to process requests and order forms.
The RSA website may be used to donate to RSA, order products and services, pay dues, and reserve and pay for programs. RSA may also provide the opportunity for members to join forums, discussion groups, electronic mailing lists, or similar online activity. Such communications allow the recipient to unsubscribe. These activities are conducted in a secure environment through our partner YourMembership.
Personal information collected on the RSA site may be shared with a third party for operational purposes, such as a travel agency that helps process the hotel reservations for the RSA annual meeting. RSA may also selectively rent mailing lists of members, subscribers, or convention registrants to appropriate third parties, such as book publishers. Before renting a mailing list to a third party, the RSA reviews all the materials that will be mailed to ensure that they will be of interest to RSA members. Contact information is provided on the RSA website so that users may notify the RSA office at any time of errors in the information provided or to request that personal information not be shared with third parties.
As a convenience to members and other users, the RSA accepts online credit card transactions through its secure servers. The credit card information provided by users at the site is submitted through companies the RSA has contracted with to process the secure electronic transaction. This information is not used for any other purpose.
To keep your credit card information secure, RSA’s website uses SSL to encrypt your data and ensures that our website, payment processor, and office are PCI compliant. Furthermore, our payment processor uses anti-fraud technology to prevent illegal charges. In the event of a data breach we will inform all impacted (or possibly impacted) members and other parties as soon as possible.

AmazonSmile and Amazon Associates Disclosure Statements
RSA is also a participant in the AmazonSmile Foundation Program, which permits registered organizations like RSA to receive donations from the AmazonSmile Foundation when customers make qualifying purchases on the AmazonSmile site and have selected RSA to benefit from those qualifying purchases. RSA is also a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to smile.amazon.com.
By clicking an Amazon banner advertisement or link on the rsa.org website, a portion of any qualifying amazon.com or smile.amazon.com purchase you make within the next 24 hours will be given to RSA as a charitable contribution and as an affiliate commission for referring the sale to the site.
Clicking on the rsa.org Amazon banner or link does not add additional costs to your purchase. The amount donated to RSA and given to RSA as commission is not displayed when you check out.
0.5% of all qualifying Amazon Smile purchase totals are given to RSA by the AmazonSmile Foundation Program as charitable donations. Amazon affiliate commissions generally range from about 4.0% to 8.5% depending on the number of purchases made using our referral link in a given month.
Any and all funds that RSA receives as a result of the donations and affiliate commissions will be used to support the existing and future research grants in Renaissance studies offered by RSA to our members.
Please note that RSA does not accept responsibility or liability for purchases made on amazon.com or smile.amazon.com.
